Help, What Adhesive Should I Use In My Tank

Hi i am bulding A Cave in my aquarium for my sailfins to hide in, I have started to make it with miliput,
But it doesnt seem very strong what would reccomend i use thanks Jamie

silicone and leave to cure for 48 hours

Make sure that it is purely silicone and doesn't contain any anti-fungal treatments and such.

Hmmm i dont think they would last 5 mins with my sailfins knocking it over!, Would i be able to get some silicone from somewhere like B&Q? If so what am i looking for?

your LFS or ebay, any aquarium safe silicon

You can get aquarium safe silicone from B&Q but it doesn't say that on the bottle, and if you get the wrong type it'll be poisonous to your fish. I'd go to your LFS and get a bottle of aquarium silicone sealant - same stuff, slightly more expensive (£3 for a small tube that'll do more than you need it to) but you've got the peace of mind of knowing you've got the right stuff.

Just be aware that silicon sealant + short attention span = horribly sticky disaster.

Don't ask me how, but I somehow got a whole load over my hands. Hooooooo boy... That stuff is EVIL!!!
