I would add up on the numbers youve got, You have a few shoaling fish without shoals. Id Boost the Rasboras up to 8 the Dainos up yo 6 each and the corys to 8....

The corys are fine in 3s, corys can shoal with just a pair, shoaling is a behaviour not a group size. A lot of people get confused about this.

Obviously larger groups can be more pleasing to the eye, but if you don't want to and haven't had any problems arising from the size of your group then it's not necessary to purchase more. The fish will of course appreciate it if they have added playmates!

I'd double the numbers of danios and rasboras that you've got in there at the moment, so that they feel safer and so that you can see the shoaling behaviour better. Platies, guppys and swordtails are good, easy to care for and very colourful. See what you're left with space-wise once you've beefed up the numbers of your current fish.

Actually, cories really should be in a group of at least 5 or 6. Yes, they can shoal in pairs, but are more comfortable with larger groups. They really are social creatures.

Same goes with the other fish. I don't think it's a matter of aesthetics, it's what's right for the fish.

Infact, considering these fish shoal in the Hundreds/thousands in the wild I dont think they will feel very secure as a group of 3. I had 3 didnt feel very secure, always hiding, I added another 6 and everyone was shoaling together and zooming around the tank
