Help?! (spawnlog)

Will do. The bubble nest has got smaller now though. When will I know if they have spawned so I can take her out again?

You need to keep checking on them if you want to know for sure otherwise do what Modaz said and take her out later and wait 3 days to see (personally not my choice, I would rather know for sure), but the wrapping/spawning process takes long enough that by checking regularly you would notice it

Cool. It is my mission to see them spawn!

The reason I took the female out earlier is because she appeared quite stressted - darting around the tank when the male found her between the plants.

How often are you checking?

At first I sat with them for an hour then I was checking every 15 mins, then every half hour, now it's every hour, I mean if he was going to kill her he would have done it by now, they are co-habiting well and he just goes up to her and flares every now and then, she's hiding but he goes into her hiding place. In fact, I just checked on them and she looks more confident, she looked like she would have taken to being wrapped but he flared and swam off pmsl... typical man

Haha.

That's the thing, my female isn't really hiding she's just darting around while the male chases her but he isn't doing it in an aggresive way.

She is still darting about the tank but she occasionally doesn't go as fast and stops for a while when the male is next to her. The male chases her and flares when she stops.

They both were under the nest a few minutes ago and I thought it might happenbecause they were both quite calm but it didn't

There is only a small nest now for some reason.

Oh CHILL out man
You've given them all of, what 3 minutes?

Leave them to it

Haha, I'm chilled, I'm chilled! Just worried.... But not anymore.

The female is hiding much more now and the male isn't really bothering her that much until she comes out to breathe then he flares and circles her. He is adding more bubbles to the nest aswell. When the female does come out, the male still chases her a little and she darts about but I think she's getting more confident.

lol..the last time i heard someone as panicked it was when my aunt was giving birth, my uncle was very panicky...im sure it'll all happen, chill...and good luck

Haha, I'm just worried that he'll kill her and excited that babies are on the way. Basically, I'm a wreck right now!
