i just cant seem to sort outhe external filter it started to work really high pressure then stopped pumping water

help :unsure:

What filter model is it, how long has it been running, when was the last time you maintained it and how did you maintain it? Also how are you trying to start it?.

its brand new

its working now but if i try and move its slightly it make a horrible noise it might be trapped air i never filled the pipes with water just the canister itself

the eheim needs priming,

turn off the filter,

take the spray bar off the pipe
take the outlet pipe and using a jug and/or funnel and fill it with tank water until the cannister and most of the pipe is completely full with water,
then turn on the filter, if the pump still doesn't start working then you will need to suck on the tube for a few seconds to siphon the water down the inlet tub
