They look like eggs. What fish do you have?

You'll probably find they get eaten in time.

2 Neons, a load of guppys, one algea eater and a few snails. im guessing if they are eggs they will be from the neons? oh and where they are there seems to be 2 guppys just sat there protecting them, or eyeing them up as a meal lol

Gupies are livebearers aren't they? I think tetra's are egg scatterers, so not really sure. They don't look like snail eggs, they're usually bunched together in a gel and stuck in one place.

What algae eater? It is my understanding that Tetra are hard to breed. They do look like fish eggs.

Ah... the chinese algae eater. I doubt very much it will be eggs from one of those. They are difficult to breed and not much is known about how to. Also you should be aware that the CAE will grow to be quite boistrous. If you have any slow swimming fish it may become hostile. They also grow to about 10" in length! I don't know how big your tank is but this could be an issue.

I have one too. I had agression problems with it untill I got him settled in a big tank with small fast moving tank mates. Now he tends to hide under his bogwood and zip around the tank from time to time :) My CAE is about 5" long and I've had him 2 years :)

Heres a pic of my CAE :)

An albino CAE?

Well there is nothing left but the neon Tetras. There is a member in the Cory section, NEONCORY, who breeds neon Tetras. You could check in with him or the Tetra forum for an id on the eggs.
