Upload the photo to photobucket and then use the IMG code pasted into your "reply" box to show us :)

Thanks for the help guys. Trying to do this on the mobile lol

female betta fish

should not be kept with fin nippers and might be agressive

Yep, female Siamese Fighting Fish(Betta Spledens) - Shouldn't be kept with fin nippers and if you get any more make sure you make the number up to at least 5. What size tank and what is she with?

Thanks for the id.

I'm a beginner so have a smallish tank. 64ltr interpet fishpod (60cm x 32cm x 37cm)

Currently have 3 black widow tetras, 1 short fin molly, 1 sail fin molly and that siamese fighting fish. Had another molly but it died last week.

I've had these for about 3 weeks so I'm looking at adding more. Trying to work out what my limit is for fish and what i should add.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

3 more black widows and 2 more female bettas i know paradise said 5 but for your tank three should be good

Would that bring me up to my maximum then for my size of tank?

Please do not add any more bettas unless you can bring the number up to 5, if you only have 3 then two of them will more than likely team up and bully the other one :( Don't add a male as he will either beat them up or they will beat him up.
Even if the male and females don't attack eachother, being in the same tank will stress them out and that is not good for your fishies.
From what I've read on here a few times, mollys should be kept in a 30g tank (113l?) but someone please correct me on that if I'm wrong.
Tetras should be kept in groups of 6+, although more is always better. I am bad at stocking numbers so can't help in that area.

I'd just like to point out that just because you -can- keep female bettas in groups with other female bettas doesn't mean you really should, or that you need to. Bettas are perfectly happy on their own or in a community setting. If you wanted to start a small sorrority in your tank then you would need to do some heavy reading and planning. Your tank needs to be full of hiding places and ways of breaking their line of site, they all need to be quarintined before being added, and they would need some close monitoring to make sure no one gets sick or seriously hurt. If you want to keep her then I wouldn't get any more bettas to put in with her.

It's 5 for a reason... They can be almost as bad as males and having 3 would result in two bullying the other one and then when that one dies the remaining two would fight to the death almost.

The black widows will outgrow your tank, the sailfin molly will outgrow your tank. I recommend you get rid of the Black Widows and get something smaller. Also, get rid of the Sailfin Molly as they get to 6" long...

How about this?

6x Galaxy Rasboras
5x Female Betta's
2x Male Platies/Short Fin Mollies/Guppies/Swordtails

Sounds much better

I wouldn't add any more female Betta she'll be fine on her own.
The sailfin Molly needs to be in a bigger tank, they can get 4/5 inches.
The black widows also really need more room & should be in groups of 6+
You're stocked as it is so Iwouldn't add any more fish & think of rehoming at least the sailfin

They can add 4 more betta's if they want but they'll need to do it at once or there'll be fights. They also need to re-home the Sailfin Molly and the Black Widow Tetra's as both will outgrow their tank. As to whether they add more betta's, it's their choice as long as they make it a minimum of 5 total they'll be fine

Thanks paradise. So much for listening to the recommendation from the guy in the LFS. They really dont care what they sell you.

When you say 'get rid' of them who do I give them to?

Could I keep them in the tank say for a year and transfer them to a bigger tank if I upgrade to a bigger one?
