I've only been a betta mom for a little over a year, and I've been very lucky with my 3 little friends until recently...
my largest and oldest [I'd say he's no older than 2] started not eating as much, but had no other signs of illness, so I changed his water and have been keeping a close eye on him... tonight, I noticed something rather disturbing as I was feeding him... he's got some sort of growth just under his pelvic fins, more on the right side....
if you look you can see the whitish spot in these pix....
can anyone tell if this is a tumor? or is it perhaps some sort disease which may be treatable - such as a fungal infection?
any help and/or advice would be greatly appreciated
