any help would be great
thanks jenbo

I'd skip the plecs, or have maybe a BN or two (male + female). Plecs poop alot and your nice clear tank will start to look dishevelled. Usually by excess poop causing ideal conditions for algae, or just discoloured water from excess ammonia, nitrite and nitrate. On this note also, i'd keep the shrimp. You say algae eating shrimp, any ideas which ones. Perhaps Japonica/Amano shrimp you mean? Ideal algae eaters and certainly a great 'clean up' crew, although don't rely on them as an alternative.

Your stocking is fine, although i don't see anything in the way of a "centre piece" fish. Something along the lines of a dwarf gourami or two would go well, or even a slightly bigger one such as an Opaline Gourami perhaps. You also have the option of the dwarf cichlids such as German Blue Rams. Apistogramma species are attractive small cichlids that would go well in your tank also.

There really are fantastic choices and your by no means limited in what you'd like to keep.

EDIT: It's just registered you have guppys. Any future 'bigger' fish you just have to double check they won't nip your guppy's attractive tails. Although in my opinion it wouldnt be a bad thing as i dislike guppys  Each to their own though and they are attractive fish, just concider tankmates with a little caution.

Hello and :hi: to the forum.

Sounds like you've got a nice stocking! You can go for a Plecostomus if you wish, but research before you buy, as you could end up with a fish that can reach a potential 2 feet in length. A Bristlenose would go nicely in your tank, but to be honest there are plenty of Catfish that can go in there. See this list, then look the species up.

Some dwarf Cichlids would compliment that tank aswell.

James. :good:
