Help On My New Nano Aquascape/shrimp Tank

Right, pets at home do a small 25L tank that I was thinking of getting and setting up with cherry shrimp in. Something a bit of a change from my other aquarium and I was thinking of using sand for the substrate so I could compare which one i like the best. Fill it with sand, plants, bogwood etc and a nice clutch of cherry shrimp. Obviously doing a fishless cycle this time round. I like a change and want to test out some different methods. So, any advice?

Practical fish keeping magazine have a lovely aqua scape for a 19 litre tank in this months edition - I'm sure you could find it somewhere. If not get the magazine it's a great read anyway.

Also if you have other tanks then transfer some of your media over and don't worry about having to fishless cycle - much easier.
