im getting a rekord 60 from jewel aquarium i was wondering what kind fish would be ok to put in i was thinking neon tetra and a algae eater i am aware of all the new tank requirements [new tank syndrome, biolgical maturation]

thanks ;)

Depends on the type of Algae Eater - From personally experience I wouldn't reccommend a Chinease or Simease Algae Eater... They get too aggressive towards tetras.

The Rekord 60 is 60 ltrs= c. 15 Us gallons

school of tetras and a bristlenose (algae eater) should be fine

neons can be a little sensitive, so a fishless cycle is needed

thanks i love tetra but there very small do they eat flakes hope its not stupid to ask  :D

:*) ok ok it was a stupid thing to ask whats the best food for them (neon tetra)

Tropical fish flakes. As for the alage eater it will need sinking algae wafers.

thanks how big do brittlenose algae eaters grow its only a small tank i saw a small algae eater in the fish store it was very small could it be a baby or are there any algae eaters that stay small  that would be cool B)

are there any other good fish that live peacefully with neons preferably 1 big fish example 1 catfish or gourma or...well you get the picture

You probably saw a baby common pleco but they can grow up to 2 feet in length. Not counting the width of it.

 thats BIG :hyper:

any other loner fish that go with neons
