I've just looked into my tank and my Dalmation Molly looks in a very bad way. Her mouth is constantly open and she's all twisted. She looks as if she is literally bent in the middle of her torso, does anyone know what this could be, maybe the equivalent of a broken spine in humans??? I have no idea. She looks as if she's struggling would it be kinder to end her misery? I need advice please! thanks

Twisted spine means old age, fish tb to internal parasites.
Once the spine bends nothing to be done.
What does it look like when your fish go to the toilet.
Any fish looking really skinny or bloated.
Check the anus of your fish to see if there anus is enlarged, or red and inflamed, or any worms prutruding from the anus.

Well the spine is definitely bent so what do you recommend, put an end to the misery? :'( I think it must be old age because my other Dalmation Molly died last week for no apparent reason, and they we're bought together, mywater levels are fine and all of my other fish are healthy. Please reply. Thanks.

If she over 2 years old I would put it down to old age.
I would watch out for long stringy white poo.
If you think the platy is suffering with the bent spine I would end her misery.
