Help Needed Again!

Hi,

Does anyone know anything about Longfin Java Moss?? To cut a long story short a seller on a well used auction site has sent me some moss....the seller is saying it's the best Longfin Java (and I'm disagreeing!!) I thought I was buying normal Java moss, I've tried looking on the web to identify this moss as the stuff I was sent looks like the stuff that grows on roof tiles, in fact the moss HAD small flying type insects in it!!

To be honest I think the seller is trying to pull a fast one!! That's why I posted here as with all the knowledge flying round here someone would of heard of it!!

I'm well p*ssed off with this seller as not only have they sent me something that I didn't buy but they charge me £2.25 for P+P......the plant arrived in a sandwich bag (no damp cotton wool/paper) a previously used envelope and a 1st class stamp!!

If I were shipping plants, I would go the cheaper route and use a previously used envelope (they work just the same), but I would used a damp cloth or damp newspaper as well as ship the right plant.

I Complained about the "Java moss" and the seller informed me he would send me Java moss if I sent him another £1!!! I've told him he ain't getting any more money out of me and in fact I want a FULL refund. Also someone has now left negative feedback for the seller as they were also sent something that wasn't Java moss.....I'll keep you posted.

Never heard of Longfin java moss lol. Always better to go off scientific names if you can.

It may be a fissidens specie.

Hi all,

I'm supposed to be getting a refund from this very RUDE seller who has told me not to buy from him again!!! yeah like that's going to happen!!. The item number is 280303126982 PLEASE avoid this seller and I've double check the moss I've got and it's the same as the stuff that grows on my Mum's roof!!!!
