Help Me Decide

now my Koi 2 is a lovely pink purply colour. he has been in temporary tank because I had to have the school fish for the holiday. But, they are going soon and am going to set up the tank for Koi 2, thinking of putting sand in or coloured pebbles but want to accentuate the pink colour in him what do you think. Also I might put a filter in I have a small one, I put an air stone in his tank originally and he loved playing with it.
What do you think of the colour and sand or pebbles? I fancy getting a pretty ornament as well.....but am skint.

i think you should get light pink coloured pebbels but get a good layer in the tank
