Help ,is My Heater Broke?

Hi , have only had this interpet heater for 2 weeks ,just done a water change and thermometer on tank has gone down from 24 -22 ,so turned heater off and on at plug and light isn`t coming on ,water seems pretty cold ,although added hot water to buckets when did a water change,whats`the lowest my fish can stand ,i`ve got pitbull plecos ,corries, shrimp ,gourami ,and glowlight tetra ,please help?

Did you turn it off before you did the water change? was any of it out of the water when water changing? Basically, if you dont turn them off and they get exposed to the air, they break in several different ways.

Are you and Marie related? Twins or something? You both had similar heater problems today its like double trouble!

Thanks for your relpy ,i did turn it off when i did water change,it was also exposed when i did the change as i did a 50 percent one,why isn`t the light working ,we`ve probably both got an interpet heater,that`s why.,but what`s the lowest temp my fish can stand?
