    Hi there,

Totally new to this, fell in love with this 'yellow half moon' betta (as labelled in store).

At home in his new tank he is a pale pink colour, covered in metallic/neon blue scales. His tail is yellow, fading out to purple, with those metallic blue streaks again.

Is there a name for this? Or is he just a mixed type?

Suspect he may actually be a rosetail or feathertail.

I appreciate your thoughts and input!

He is not fully flared in the photos, so telling his tail type is a little hard. Could you set a mirror next to his tank and take a picture of him fully flared up?

The tail has some ruffles in the end so I’m going to vote for rosetail.
