I wouldnt ruin your filter about it...it says "if possible" so I'd say that you might just have to add in a little more than recommended so enough can pass through the carbonbbymkr said:The directions for the Pimafix says to "Remove activated carbon, if possible", but I have a HOB Aquatech 30/60 filter and the carbon is sealed in the filter.
