this fish was sold as a GBR but I'm skeptical, could you please help me ID it?

It is a GBR, I would say a female, but it looks a bit stressed at the moment. Give it some time to settle in.

Yes its a GBR and I agree with Southern Cross - it looks female from the colouring and the dorsal fin looks a little rounded at the top
