Yeah I have moss balls they are great, they soak up tons of nitrate and just look pretty cool
What type of fish are you thinking of? How much water does this tank hold?

Have you considered green neons, slightly smaller species but can equate to more fish in total? 
look into getting galaxy rasbora as well. such a nice fish, small size 2 so you could keep quite a few.
May i just say that it looks like a stunning tank. Would love to have one my self in maybe my next house.
