Help. Got A Black Spider With Clear Legs In My Tank

by the Loaches who are acting strangely and only staying in one corner of the tank going up and down the side and doing little else.

My fish have started to do that a lot. I didn't think there was anything wrong though, more that there was algae there that they were eating or that they can see something interesting out that side of the glass (not me )

Oh and ps, I thought I was freaked out enough when I found a snail in my tank the other day but a SPIDER that was furry and still alive under the water would actually make me cry I think!

Very similar although less black with golden colour

Looked at lots of pictures of chain loaches and yes they are chain loaches.

no probs, cracking little fish.

whats happened to the spider thing..?

Gone missing now although so has one tiny neon tetra. I now have five of them.

Total fish now: -

Two x Chain Loaches

five x Neon Tetra

Two x Sunburst Platy - I Love these fella's.

UK 20 Gallon Tank, 95 litre.

I calculate I could get another 5 fish, any ideas? Tank seems empty with the above

I think that you sould put an apple snail in your tank or a pleco just to keep the tank remotlely more clean, even though i doubt it is dirty and it is fun watching them eat.

An apple snail with loaches? No!! Fair enough the chains are only small but they'd probably still try to eat an apple snail and would no doubt harm it.

I would add something like a pearl or dwarf gourami and 5 more neons.
