Hi, I bought 4 diamond tetras yesterday. I have noticed today that one of them today has a white patch on them and throughout the day it has turned furry. The problem is it seems that most of the meds are harmful to frogs and shrimps. Any advice would be wonderful!
Thanks

Most fish carry a 48 hr "guarantee". If your lfs is half decent, bag them up and take them all back. As said, a hospital tank wud be a solution but not many of us have one, and besides, I wud say these fish were infected at the lfs.

Welcome to the board.

How many gallons is your tank please?
How many fish and which type?
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, ph.

Is it possible to go out any buy a small isolation tank for the frogs, and shrimp.
You can get some really good deals on small tanks, with filter, heater, included.

The white patch on the fish does it look like white fluffy cotton wool?
Is there any red, or pink areas to the white patch?
