HELP!!

We have a flea infestation, normally we get by with just treating the cats with frontline, but for some reason this year is particularly bad.
Anyway, I have this spray called RIP fleas, I've done all the house, eacept the sitting room where the tank is, but I don't know what to do there. It's 100litre,so I can't possibly move it, but it says on the leaflet to either remove it, or to turn off the air pump, and cover the tank. It doesn't say how long to keep it covered and un-aerated for. I know a lot of people on here have furry/fluffy friends, so hopefully might be able to give me some advice..please?

well normally when using flea sprays you have to have the windows closed for a period of time for it to take affect then open them, it must be the same time as this.

Oh. I was thinking I might open the window, and put the air pump outside!!
It doesn't mention anything about closing windows, I've had them all open for ventilation!
