Help Cichlid Is Attacking Everything

my rogue cichlid is causing mayhem in my tank, hes taken to chasing the other cichlid to the point where he doesnt come out now and my poor 2 and a half yr old cory is terrified as he is bearing a fair bit of his anger too. i dont have another tank to put it in and really dont know what to do. i cant take it back until tomorrow, should i just float a bag with him in on top of the tank? im really worried that im going to get up tomorrow and find half my fish dead

I guess her internet connection failed or some other emergency happened, she hasnt been back and hasnt identified fish

sorry my internet has been a bit iffy recently and it wouldnt reload last night. i have a kribensis well 2. they survived the night but my cory isnt well at all, hes very lifeless and just sitting on top of the pump any ideas what i can do to sort him out?

panic over he seems to have perked up a bit with some food being around. im taking the nasty cichlid back to the store now and hope to get a more peaceful one

cichlids arent peaceful fully......i have same problem with mine.....as we speak i have put him in a bucket and now rearanging whole tank....then hopefully ive made more defined terrotory......if not i will be rehoming him....just measured him at 9inches.....ive got 3 major defined areas now and other hidey areas so hope thisl work...try it....or do you have a pair now and this is the rogue

well we have a pair at the moment but i think we may have 2 males. one is very peaceful and gets along with the corys fine infact i think he thinks hes one of them, but the other is defending its territory and has nipped my corys fins so much, im going to take him back and try and get a female for the other one to pair with

yes when i had kribs i had 2females and a male...all was fine then they paired off and the pair constanly attcaked the female.....yep if there two males return it a see if they will change it for you......

well i took it back, they kept saying it was a female, still looked exactly the same as the male to me though but this new one looks alot more female. they refused to give a refund or swap it at first saying it wasnt their problem it was agressive and told me to take it home, i refused to and made my feelings on the whole situation clear, they soon swapped it after that i dont know how they expect me to put it back in my tank when its beating up my other fish
