Help Asap

hey my mum just shouted me to tell me one of the fish is ill!
so i ran in and its the biggest of my black widow tetras, it was fine a couple of hours ago when i fed them.
she is now at the surface upside down gasping for air and her eyes are bulging out!
ive caught her in the net (to stop other fish harrasing her) and i dont know what to do!!
she hasnt been ill before and non of the others are ill. my tank stats are fine. she is quite big and very fat but she was like that when i got her! shes larger than all my other tetras and alot fatter than the others too, she loves her food!
poor thing whats happened to her?
any ideas?

what do you think caused this?
ive just looked at her again and shes still hangin on, it makes me so sad and feel so guilty as im helpless to do anything!
just looked at her and she has something coming out of her anus, not a worm but like red and clear tiny balls?

That weird get them out fast, and take a closer look at one of them.

Do they look like eggs, thinking worms but not sure so don't panic.

With a net, are the fish eating them.

Issolate her, if the fish has internal parasites more then likely so will the other fish.

Have any of the fish had white stringy poo, inflamed enlarged red anus.
Also looking bloated, or going very thin.

nope. although one of my platys had this same problem a few days ago,
apart from she wasnt upside down or gasping and had no bulging eyes. i thought she was goin to have her babies but nothing happened and the small balls just got smaller and smaller and then dissapeared. see post titled -'female platy - is she ill' - in the emergency section a few days ago
