If the fish do indeed have internal parasites it accounts for all the bacteria infections, as internal parasites are nasty and cause problems like this on top of them.

one of my rummy nose wasnt well a couple of weeks ago it had an ulcer, thats nearly cleared up though now, as i treated with myaxin

sounds like my tank maybe infested then, thats so disgusting!
how do i get rid of the parasites??

Very hard, i had to destroy the fish and strip the tank down.
There is a med but it hard to get hold off, i will find you a thread.

Your best bet is a vet, sorry, had them awful, but the rest of the fish did survive, it was just two plecs i had to destroy, as they were in a bad way, striped the tank down, lucky though i have goldfish that i could take some filter sponges from to start again with.

Hey, my poor black widow died a few hours ago! it was so sad, my dad had to euthanise her as she was getting in a real bad way with fungus starting to grow on her, i feel so guilty i hope she wasnt in pain! i usually just leave them to die in peace on their own but ulcers and fungus began to develop and i couldnt stand to see her gasping at the surface any longer! RIP. x x
