Any idea how I would go about finding him a lady friend?

email this guy who has listed these fish he may have a spair female or know were to get 1 hes a specialist breeder from runcorn

Nannacara are actually south american, and one of my favorite dwarfs. Cant believe I missed it :eek:

Ah, yes - the joys of internet misinformation!

Now I know what it is I've been able to look it up in several good books - looks as though I've given it pretty much the correct care purely by accident all these years.

What would your opinions be about keeping a spawning pair with corys? I'm a bit concerned they might have a go at them if they get territorial when breeding.

in my experience with SA dwarf cichlids there fine with cory when spawning at worst there will be a small amount of chasing
having said that all fish are different but if the tank is big enough i cant see any problems
