[Big Dead Dave]

I am called Big Dead Dave because my girlfriend bought me a big Orange Oranda for my birthday, and the Reading Fc game before that a ginger haired striker called Dave Kitson scored 2 goals to beat West Ham, which made him into a cult hero at Reading.
So I named my fish after him, and because he was so big, he became known as Big Dave.
But he died in June, after illness so he's now big dead Dave.
The most interesting story I have about naming fish led me to this username.

I remember Dave Kitson, I used to have a season ticket to Cambridge United for years and me mates used to go all the time, he was a legend there and then as usual we sold him and went back to being awful! Small world as they say.

Do you remember him?
He had two fantastic seasons at Reading, but broke his leg.

I think Football fans are one of the biggest groups on the internet, and everybody can connect with every club in some way or another.
