Inexperienced, but getting there! Currently trying to do a no-fish cycle with daughter's 34l tank, but with no ammonia wasn't getting anywhere. LFS recommended the Evolution Aqua "Pure Aquarium" pearls and 2 weeks - but I'm still not sure where the ammonia will come from to start the nitrate cycle? Already have another established 34l tank which is as healthy as you like - 2 African Dwarf frogs, one female nerite, 4 tetras, 6 guppies and 1 Endler's guppy. I did have more Endler's guppies, but they hero-worshipped the other guppies to exhaustion, and all seemed to think their yellow sibling was female, so off they went to LFS. Dream is a huge tank, but downsizing in the next 3-5 years so will wait :) Nice to meet everyone!

Hi and welcome to the forum :)

If you already have an established tank, then take half the filter media/ material from that and put it in the new filter on the new tank. Instant cycled aquarium and you can add fish straight away.

You don't need this now but the following link has information on what to do if your fish get sick. It's long and boring but worth a read when you have some spare time.

Yes! Thank you! Going to try this immediately (to my daughter's delight) :)
