hello all im new into this forum i hope i will get all the help i need.

so ive got a 3ft tropical in my front room which ive had for about three years. i got hold of a 5ft that i was going to use as a marine but have now given that one up and left me a 5ft spare. Right so i shall be putting this into my living room to replace my old tank. Im looking for a few tips.

i was going to use a fluval fx5 for the filter 2x200w heaters and i have plenty of lighting.
what else would you recommend

congrats on the new big tank.

what you need rather depends on what you're planning on doing with the tank. can you give us some more info on what you plan on doing with it, what fish, what aquascaping etc, do you want it to be low maintenance or do you not mind some work, have you got plenty of cash to splash or are you on a budget..... etc etc etc

well i was going to be setting up a 5ft marine so i guess the cash wont be that much of a problem . i think if i keep posting on here i might get people mixed up ive posted in the tropical chat section. ive listed my current fish and some that i would like too. thanks
