just returning to tropical fish keeping after a break of 12 years. in the past we have kept livebearers,oscars,big gibbis and plecs, piranha, cichlids et al
all new stuff! hard to keep fishes are now captive breeding! living plants now growing on wood instead of plastic fixed with silicone! so many resonably priced external filters! so may good fish that id only read about before!
we now have a 4ftx18x12 set up thats been through 2 fish free cycles [ i see everyones doing this now!] and we will be stocking with shoaling fish and a few smaller oddballs
def no guppies or platys or mollies or swordtails though. been there done that and got several t shirts thank you
