I believe my partner "Patchwork" already introduced himself.

We recently bought an Aqua One AR-620T, 130 litres tank and are now cycling the water religiously according to the "fishless cycle" method that we have read about.

Personally, I've wanted an aquarium all my life but due to a vagabond-like life it hasn't been possible until now, and I'm so excited :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: !! Reading up on all I can about the subject. The cycling will take yet some weeks so I have plenty of time to learn some of the basics.

Looking forward to delve into the knowledge of experienced "aquarists" and to also learn from people in my situation. I expect to do a lot of mistakes, but hopefully some good research and studying can eliminate some of them.

Regards, Anne

Hi and welcome to the forum. :hi:

I think I remember seeing the other thread. I hope you enjoy the tank. A word of warning though: you will probably be hunting a place for another tank soon. It is addictive. A big thumbs up for researching first before jumping into anything. So many people get fish that aren't compatible, too big for their tanks, so on and so on because they buy on impulse and don't research their fish first. Good luck.

Thank you!

I have already raised the idea of another tank in the house :shifty: . We both fell in love with the dwarf puffer fish, but we cannot keep it in the peaceful and lively community tank we're currently planning. Another "puffer-only" tank would thus be ideal.

Yes, those are mistakes we strive to not make.

Thank you! I guess patience is a virtue  and good things come to those who wait.
