Hello, I'm a Fish Out Of Water!

Just thought I'd introduce myself before asking some questions around the forum. I don't currently own any fish, I don't even have a tank yet.

Soon I will though. I plan on building my own 120 gallon acrylic tank, too big to start?

Well, not much else to say. If you want to share some pictures of your fishy-friends/babies than please do!!!

I's say a 120 gallons is a good tank. The more water volume, the easier it is to keep the water in great condition. Building your own tank is a big project to start with, but the rewards will be worth it! Depending on where you are in Canada, we might be close. I live in Western New York. Sounds unbelievable huge to my 16 gallon, you will have to do a 25% water change per week, that's a cool 30 gallons..........wow!!

I'm in Toronto pretty frequently for work. Right now I live in Peterborough which isn't too far east from there. Howdy neighbour.

Beautiful tank! Did you do the aquascaping yourself? It's a very nice use of the space, and I'm sure your fish appreciate it.

I'm going to consider adding some platies to my stock-list now
