Hello Fish Fans!

Hey guys!

My name is Stephen and im 19 years of age

My dad has been into keeping Cichlids for a long time, namely oscars, but stopped for a long time and just got back into it, and has now, fortunately gotten me into keeping fish too.

My aim is get myself a nice pair of oscars someday and breed them but for the moment im just getting into it and getting used to whats needed and such.

i have a 2' tank which contains 2x anabantids (male blue gourami about 3" & female golden gourami about 3" also) and 1x 6" gibbiceps pleco.

this tank has been up for a week, the gourami's went in yesterday and the gibbi has just gone in, about 30 mins ago actually

The female gourami is showing signs of getting ready to spawn, enlarged breast and a blueish tint to her underbelly, the male is showing signs as well since he is biting her and butting her quite a bit.

Anyway thats just a little introduction to me and the tank ive just got

Ill attach a pic of the golden gourami swimming about, i apologize for the quality but its the best my camera can do unfortunately! (webcam!)

Im hoping to get a good shot off all three of the fish when they are out by the golden gourami (as detailed here: http/fish.orbust.net/forums/index.php?sh...howtopic=27947) has begun hiding and wont come out unless prompted (i wont go into the long explanation since ive already posted it all in the aforementioned thread
