My names Gemma but my friends call me Gem. I am new to the "Tropical Fish Forum" as you might have guessed! I have always wanted my own Tropical Fish Tank and last week my wish came true when my bf let me take over his fish tank

I now have 15 Neon Tetras which I have had since Monday and they seem to be doing well

I have joined to meet like minded people and learn from others how to best look after my fishes

According to the conversion tool I found on Google it's 47.52 Gallons

litre divided by 4.55(number of litres in a gallon) = Number of gallons.

Therefore 180/4.55=39.56UKgallons

Seeing that the person asking the question was from Minnesota, I'd say Gem was quoting the US measurement where

180 litres = 48 gallons using the conversion rate of 3.75 litres per US gallon

(apologies for the rounding error, it's the best I can do in my head)
