Hello everyone! 
Just thought I'd write a quick hello here to introduce myself
My name is Sarah, im 21, and I live in Leicester in England. My boyfriend (registered on here as Mr_p) seems to have been too lazy to write in the newbies section so I'll do it for both of us.
We have recently bought and set up our first tropical tank together and we have already had babies! (fish that is).
We're in the process of cycling a nursery/hospital/quarantine tank for any more surprises our fish have in store for us.
Neither of us know a lot about fish keeping, although we have been researching as much as we can, and we both panic if the fish suddenly do something strange, or look a different colour (I think perhaps we're a little paranoid ) So here seemed to be the best place to get information, advice and learn from other people's experiences 
So far the tank contains:
1 figure of eight puffer fish (Percy)
3 wagtail platys (Wendy, Wilma and Wallace)
3 red platys (Bob, Bobby and Bobette)
1 red platy fry (Nemo - the sole survivor)
2 blue tuxedo platys (Bonnie and Clyde)
5 cardinal tetras (no names )
1 chinese butterfly loach (Lawrence)
2 silver sharks (Sharyk and George)
1 unknown bottom feeder... Anyone know what it is? (Clive)
Also 1 labrador retriever (Charlie)
2 mice (Maisy and Numpty)
1 rabbit (Nutmeg)
