OK I was an idiot.
There isnt much space in my house so I have a corner tank with an external filter. When I was cleaning the filter at the weekend I accidentally unplugged the hose from the valve that stops water coming out the hose.
I worked out I lost about 2 litres of water that seeped under the cabinet that goes straight to the floor.
Anyway we now have a smell like cat pee in the house that we think is coming from under the cabinet.
Anyone any ideas how to get rid of the smell without having to empty and move a 180 litre tank.
Thanks

If you are very careful you wont have to empty the whole tank, I would take it down to as low as required to move it, but enough to keep the fish in sufficient water, Ive moved a 240l tank by draining about 3/4 of the water and them very very slowly, move it.

Make sure the stand takes the strain,(slide it along the floor) rather than the tank, or you could stress the siliconed sides...and you know what happens then!

also make sure if it isnt a well built or high quality stand and you are moving it that the stand isnt going to break
