ok, im going out to buy a 120 litre tank similar or the rekord 120 i need to no what size filter and heater i need to buy
i wuld also like to no how long and how to soak bogwood

the juwel tanks come with there own filter, heater and lights, if not a juwel, the rule of thumb is 5watts per gal so 150watt heater will be more than enough.

It depends on whether or not you like the tea stained water effect you will get from the tannins it leaches, if you don't mind just give it a scrub and pop it in, if it floats weight it down or soak it until it sinks.

If you don't like the tannins, soak it in water and change every 24 hours until clear.

prob need something whichfilters at 500lph or more, like a rena filstar 3 if you are going for internal.
