Hi everyone,

How many watts would a heater be for a 35 litre tank? I read somewhere you need 10 watts per 4.5 litres of water (don't know if this is true), so would it be around 80 watts - then round up to 100?

1W per liter is not a bad goal to shoot for. A 50W heater will do great for you. You could use a 25W if the room where your fish are is kept relatively warm year round but since the price increase is minimal as you go up in wattage there's little reason not to get a 50W heater.
