So nice to see him

Make it more special when he makes an appearance
Very, I love him. He's really cute and he's gonna be so majestic when he's full grown one day.

He will need a bigger log then though. Much bigger.

How big will he get?
9.5-10 inches
Hes only about 4 inches now though. Hes grown a little since I've got him. He will be moving to a larger tank as well.

His spots will also shrink when he matures.

Not my videos, but

Beautiful fish. I would have more plecos if I had more tanks.

When I had the L260s, I never saw them unless they got disturbed during a water change or I snuck into the living room at night with a headtorch. They were stunning, though.

However, I'm a great a fan of these L199s. They're sociable wee critters and always pop out of their caves at feeding time, and they're active in the evening, even with the tank lights on full blast. They were only semi-planned. After losing the L260s, we went to the LFS with the intention of getting any Hypans species they had, so long as it was one that stayed under 5" and wasn't L46, because I'm not spending £100 on one. Seemed easier than trying to track down whatever obscure L-number I'd set my mind on. They had these guys, and we picked up four of them for our wee breeding colony. Now just hoping they are different sexes!
