Whenever I add new fish to my tank the dominant Gourami beats the heck out of them for about 2 weeks and then completely loses interest...so I have to buy fast fish :D

I was dumb and bought all male Gourami's (I didnt know better at the time). It's a very semi-aggressive tank. It's funny, all the fish are somewhat aggressive towards eachother...but the big old Plec just kinda loafs around and noone bugs him.

Just thought I'd share that, for anyone who might be thinking about getting Gourami's..they can be very mean

Thats intresting...If I were you, I'd add all my fish at once......

This remindes me of chickens I take care of...the pecking order....

o, haha yea that sounds familiar, i remember my female betta community was like that, add a new girl and she would get the beating of her life for about a month before she would fight back and find her place :D wen adding aggressive fish its best to do it all at once so that they dont harm the new guys too bad.
