I have 4 Kribs in a 200 litre at the minute.

The biggest Krib is always hiding in the plants even during feeding. So for the past couple of days I have stuck my hand near to encourage it to move, and it does. The problem is within seconds another Krib (just 1 of the other 3) Chases it until its back in the plants. Im quite worried for it as it not eating at all and must be feeling pretty down in the dumps. :(

What could I possibly do?

Thanks, James.

keep it a pair to a tank or as you are experiancing you will get trouble

Thanks for your reply, I might be giving them to my brother or take them back to LFS. They keep nibbling my plants and leaving dead leaves all over the place, not to mention one of them killed my pleco. Shame though, I do like them.

James.

What kind of pleco? Kribs are not normally aggressive enough to kill a pleco. If you want to keep kribs, get a pair. It'll be much easier that way.

hmm that dont really sound like krib behavior how big was the plec and how big are the kribs?

The pleco was a Gibbicep and he was very small. I have a post on it

Now looking at it, I can clearly see a pair formed. They chase the other two any time they are in open water.
I would put a pair into my 60Litre but I don't think its big enough for them, and there is a small pleco in there amongst other small fish. So I don't want to risk it.

I think i'll probably get rid of them, just hope I can sooner rather than later. Or just get rid of the aggresive pair?

James.
