I would like to go T6's as I currently only have space for 2 tubes and I want to get the most efficient lighting possible with what I've already got.

However I've been trying to find 3.5ft T6's online and it seems almost impossible and may need to start looking at T8's again as I really like the mixture of the grolux and lumilux skywhite together. However as mentioned above I want to achieve the best WPG possible with what I've got. The 36W T6's would take me to between 1.5 and 2 WPG whereas the 38W T8's consuming more energy only place me between 1.2 and 1.5 WPG.

I've tried looking on lampspecs and they have the T8's I want but no T6's...

Does anyone know where I can get T6's? They seem very hard to come by, especially in such a long length

Cheers

They only seem to go up to 3ft (36") and I need 3.5ft (41.5").

Unless there is a way of me shortening the fixtures?

Cheers

pet smart are quite good for things like that :good:
but if you can't get one the other opinion is to fit a new light this is what i had to do and if anything its made my tank look better and iv got no problem ever getting a light for it now.

good look finding one
