Hi all

I want to add a couple of "Small" angels 'I know they will grow' at the moment my stocking is

4 assassin snails + a couple of baby's somewhere in the tank
5 mountain minnows,
5 zebra's,
3 Amano Shrimps,
5 Bronze cories
5 Honey Gourami
the tank is a 110Lt with a internal PF3 filter that has 2 plain filter foams(I removed the carbon one)
the stats as of Monday last week were
ammonia 0
nitrite 0
nitrate 20
the tank has been running for approx 3 months.

No, your tank is a bit small for fully grown angels.

I don't think they would mix well with the gouramis anyway.

Angelfish need at least 45cm (18") of actual water, excluding sand/gravel, which I doubt your 110l has. In any case, mixing them with WCMM and possibly even Zebra Danios is risky, as Angels snack on Neon Tetras in the wild.

Any particular reason why you have five hooved animals squashed in a 110l tank? Joking aside, Zebra Danios need an unusually long tank for their size because of their hyperactive nature, a 4-foot is recommended. Just like the WCMM, they have lower temperature requirements than your other fish/critters, they really should be kept at less than 20C for most of the year.


Not exactly the same as Angelfish, but laterally compressed with relatively big fins above and below their body, are Indian Glassfish (Paramabassis ranga). These fish reach ~7cm, love hard as well as low end brakish water.
