Hi new to all the lighting seen these

Would 3 sets of these be any good?

My tank is 80cm x 30 x 40 and 90l i believe

not much good if you want any plants to grow when used on their own, however can be used for subdued lighting over a fish only tank, or for moonlight effects at night basically they are not that bright!

So is there anyway of retro fitting leds into a exsisting hood to grow plants just my t8 is on its way out and was thinking of upgrading to leds i can get dimensions of hood if required

there are ways but its down to your diy skills alot of the time, however saying that there are some tube replacement leds out there but how good they are is questionable, yet again that depends on what you want to do with your tank, I have seen some on you tube under LAFISHGUYS that are quite bright but I do not know the availability of these.

they were the ones i refered to in post 4 cannot comment on how good or not they are all i will say is 10Lm per led isn't much at all if thats what the specifications on there mean.
