Has Anyone Used Java Plants Recently?

Heya Guys

I used to order my aquatic plants from a company called Java Plants. A really good service and great prices.
However, I haven't used them for a while and the last order I placed was on behalf of my ex-girlfriend (yes, I do have them!). The order never arrived, and I sent them 3 e-mails to which I got no reply - I split with my girlfriend and I forgot about it. However, I want to re-order from them but don't want to order and have the same fate as my ex-girlfriend, so I just wandered if anyone here has ordered from them recently and did they complete the order OK?
The last time I ordered was probably last September. I really hope someone has used them recently and had no problems because I really want to use them again.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Well i plan for bottem covering to have peice of slate (which covers the whole tanK) with grassy moss.Probably the java moss i already have if not would you reccomend any other which will stick to slate?I don't really have a clue what else i am going to do.Any ideas?

You could try Riccia.

They are still supposed to be THE BEST,i have just ordered from them 2day.

I get all my plants from Greenline. Fantastic plants No problems whatsoever Dont know bout Java sorry

Just visited the Greenline website.. seem a little pricey but i'm tempted to try them. When is there delivery day? (too lazy to look myself!)

I ordered some plants from Java the week before last, they turned up on Saturday morning in very good condition. I did ring Java (got a voicemail) as they state they are sent out on a Wednesday and I was expecting them no later than Friday, I didn't recieve a call back but like I say they turned up on Saturday Morning.

This is the second time I have used them without any real problems, hope that helps.

I'm tempted to try Greenline, just to see how they turn out. I like the fact they do a coldwater mix.

I ordered some plants last week from Greenline, Aquaessentials and Java-plants and asked for delivery on Wednesday. It will be interesting to see what turns up. I am hoping to receive them on Wednesday but it looks like Java send their stuff out on Wednesday so my tank is going to have loads of gaps! I will let you know how I get on.

Greenline send their stuff out Tuesdays. I get my plants Thursdays. I have had 5 orders from them so far they are exellent IMO

The fact you get your orders through on thursday is a good thing. It's only really Monday, Tuesday and Thursday that i'm at home when the post comes so would be able to plant them straight away (I don't like the idea of them sitting in my letterbox all day!)

Any company that can't even get the names of their plants right will get the thumbs down from me. Saying that other people seem to be quite happy with their service. They do seem to go through bad patches as I remember a while ago there were lots of problems. I've always liked Greenline and everytime I've used them plants have arrived very quickly. I've now switched to Aqua Essentials mainly for the quality.

My AE plants (tropica) turned up and I'm not that impressed with them considering the price. I'll see how they grow I guess. Fingers crossed Greenline and Java will be better.....

I went for Greenline in the end! Meaning i've now experienced Greenline and Java!

I was quite impressed with the greenline communitcations and packing. Also, the general health of the plants is so much better than Java. However, I think that value for money Java comes up top!

This is my critieria and who I thought was better.
