has anybody bought from the premium plants range on plantedtanks.co.uk? if so how do they come? bunched? potted? it doesnt say. for example limnophilia aquatica it just gives a price of £1.64 . but it doesnt say what it is. heck could be a single stem for all i know

edit: i should be clearer . i mean the ones where you dont get the option of potted / buched/ceramic ring etc. there is just 1 price .

well i wont be buying from them anyway now . phone gos to answerphone , and the guy dont answer emails .

Thats a shame...they normally have been quite good. He has been on here a few times as well.

i am looking at aquarium gardening now . i emailed them late last night with a general question about the amount of plants in pots etc . i wasnt expecting to hear back until today but i got an email back saying i can explain better over the phone , give me your number and i will ring you . their plants are more expensive , but a lot of them are from tropica , and i would pay more rather than use plantedtanks purely on principle now . yep im stubborn like that  . also aquarium gardening have more choice too .

The green machine do the tropica range, people are saying they're getting too expensive but i'm not sure because I don't buy online. The plants are always great quality :good:

yeah TGM are really expensive. The quality of plants is good there's no doubt, however when i can get 5 pots of HC for the price of their 2, i'll go back to TGM.

the 1st plants i ever ordered were from tgm and i have to say the quality was amazing . the giant valis must of been 3 feet , however to fully plant a tank from their site youd need to remortgage!!

I've decked my tank out from plantedtanks. Pretty good quality, and i went for standard range.

I personally buy plants from Aquaessentials. Every plant they have sent is in brilliant condition. Unfortunately, I stopped purchasing items from TGM as they kept sending plants that had yellow leaves. I have been to the planted tank website and I agree that they don't describe their plants very well. If you want clarity I'd suggest you either go to 'Aquaessentials' or 'theplanttank'.

I'm a second for AquaEssentials. Just ordered my second wave of plants from them. Plants came in great condition first time round, so hoping the same this time. Service was fast as well.

To back the service up, i placed an order at 12:30 today, and it's already out for shipping!

Top stuff! :D

I got my initial stock of plants from Plantedtanks.
Had mixed results. Some of it was my lack of knowledge, some not.
He was very helpful though. Am surprised that he does not reply to e-mails or phone. Was very good at communicating with me.

I must say, that after having placed a few orders with these online plant shops, I now only buy plants from my lfs. It may be a bit more expensive, but at least you can see what you are getting there and then.

My plants have just arrived from plantedtanks - and i must say they look to be in excellent condition, really pleased with them. I was a little concerned with the status on my order, but I emailed and got one back straight away (more than once). Would have purchased from my local LFS, but they just dont have alot of choice. Next tank I purchased I shall definatly be purchasing from plantedtanks again :hyper:
