Hiya....Asking another question for my dad...

Tank is 300 litres.

and is currently stocking...

2 Large Silver Sharks
3 Large Tin Foiled Barbs
4 Large Clown Loaches (each sized about 3 inches)
1 Large Ruby Sharks
3 Medium Ruby Sharks
2 Small Red Tailed Black Sharks
3 Small/Medium Albino Sharks
4 Zebra Dianoes
1 Large Bristlenose
1 Male Siamese fighter (Red)
1 Female Siamese fighter (Blue)
3 Red Barbs
1 Large Pakistani Loach
1 Swordtail Male

Would the Harlequin Shark(5 inch long, by a inch wide) so pretty big... would it be ok with this stocking??

Advice would be really great!!

Thanks!

I wouldn't add anymore fish the tanks fully stocked.
You have to many sharks that won't get along.

I will say agian concerning this tank, Male betta splendens should never by kept with female betta splendens except when spawning.

nasty mix of fish there mate,

Id get rid of quite a few of those before you even start thinking about adding anything.....

Ah right ok thanks.

Does anybody know anything about harlequin sharks?

Definitely don't add any more sharks to that tank - you are not really supposed to keep more than one species of shark in any tank because of their aggressive, territorial behaviour. Harlequin sharks are not peaceful community fish, anyway, and will end up killing some of the other fish in there!

As someone else mentioned - male & female bettas should not be kept in the same tank together, either (unless for spawning, which is regulated for a specific amount of time). I made this mistake of putting both in a tank when I first started out with tropicals - and the male was almost killed by the female (I just rescued him in time but he had no finnage left at all!).

I also kept 3 types of shark in a tank (again, before I new any better) and then had to rehome two of them once I realised what a bad choice that was (too much aggression and bullying going on).

Too many fish in that tank, youl be lucky to get good water conditions and maintain healthy fish. I would rehome personally.

You have far too many sharks, i genrally say one per tank due to their territorial behaviour.

The fighter fish. 1 male OR female, shouldnt be kept together. I wouldnt be suprised if the male is nipped to shreds looking at your stocking.
