Hello,
Just read this from the Maidenhead Aquatics e-letter. Thought it would be of interest to the folks on here.....I'm certainly interested in less 'delicate' DGs. I've copy & pasted the text:
"When I was a younger man things were a little different. I had a fringe and dwarf gouramis were sturdy fish that would thrive and breed in the home aquarium. Sadly, my hair is a thing of the past but a bio-secure facility that has been breeding dwarf gouramis has now produced enough stock to sell and we’re anticipating the first of these fishes in the shops soon. As the breeders have gone ‘back to basics’ with these fish, you will see traits more common to wild fishes such as a more elongate body shape but trials have revealed these fish to be both hardy and resilient in a community aquarium."
