Would that cover my refugium / skimmer needs?

Also, can anyone see how that thing works? I'd assume you have to hook the pump it comes with up to it, but I'm really confused on what is what on there. I'm afraid I won't know what to do with it when I get it. Would the one pump suck water through both the skimmer and Refugium?

Looks like the left side is the skimmer part and will be fed by a submersed pump with an air line attached - air and water then drawn into the left side of the 'box'.

Top left is the box that collects the cack the skimming produces - seems like you can raise or lower it so its at the correct level so the skim isn't too wet. Water then flows to the right side of the box which is the fuge bit, then back into the tank.

Looks like it would work but how adequate it would be as a fuge is for others to comment on - not something I've experience of. As a skimmer, probably fine for a 20gal set up?

This set up looks a bit like the Biostar Flotor set up which has a sponge wheel where this one has the fuge bit.

to be honest it looks ok. not sure how great the skimmer will be but the fuge seems a good size for a 20g, get some miracle mud in there with some LR rubble and macros.

you may need to light it seperatly for the macro to do well though, so beware of the extra cost of lighting. how much is the unit by the way?

Good luck with it nix. Remember, new skimmers take a while to break in or dial in so have patience with it :)
