Hand Me Down Tank Leaked

AAAAHHHHH!!! A tank i got given last year by someone has leaked!!!
I came home to find the to shelldwellers in it dead and all my gcse science books soaked.
GGGGGGGRRRR.
So now i am one tank short.
So i f anyone has a 40 litre tank for sale or gettin rid of i will take it in hertfordshire area as long as you can deliver.

Nah i dont no where the leak is
so it will be pretyy hard and the tnak is pretty beat up

Surely you empty it, scrape away the silicone sealant, then reseal it. You don't have to find the leak that way, just apply the sealant all new.That's what I would try if I had a leaky tank.

I agree with fenwoman just strip the old silicone away ann reseal it.
