You said you had 40 fry. I'm betting at least one of them was a male, and could have mated with her when she was young? Then she stored the sperm, and is now pregnant. Maybe? Are you sure she is only 6 months old though? She looks full grown and matured...which usually happens later.

Sorry...I'm not really understanding what happened here... first you said she's been in a tank with no males for at least 5 months. Then you said she's been in an all female tank since birth?
